Pub Challenge 2009

Congratulations to the White Horse, Graffham who were the winners of this year's Pub Challenge!

Proud landlord, Adam Mordue, is seen here with Brian Brockhurst and Mick Folkes collecting their trophy. Paul Tupper also played in the 4 man team who managed a magnificent nett score of 54.8 in the scramble format. The players all won golf bags for their victory and will be invited to defend theit title next year, free of charge. Brian also took the nearest the pin prize at the 5th hole.

In 2nd place were The Railway (Billingshurst), represented by Steve Merriott, James Merriott, Rick Skinner and Vic Carlisle. with nett 58.6 and in 3rd place were the Dog and Bacon (Horsham) team of Mike Pettit, Dean Woodhall, Keith Pollard and Peter Minihane with nett 58.8.

Nearet the pin at the 18th hole was won by Brian Tee of Northchapel and the longest drive prize was won by Simon Small playing for the Three Moles.
