Foxbridge Mens Open 2009
68 was the score of the day!! Gross 68 earned the scratch title for Matt Allen and nett 68 meant Martin Loomes took home the handicap trophy! Both men won golf bags for their efforts on a day when visitors from Sussex, Surrey and Kent went home with prizes. Ian Yeatman, a 3 handicapper from Kingswood Golf Club took 2nd in the scratch competition with 73. Players from Mannings Heath did well with Colin Gibson, Brian Easter and Ian West taking 2nd, 3rd & 4th places respectively in the handicap competition - all with nett 70. Trevor Loftus, also from Mannings Heath, took 4th gross with 80, just behind Foxbridge's Nick Upjohn who pipped him on countback. Ron Waddell from Horsham took 5th gross with 81.
Nearest the pin on the 18th hole was won by Matt Allen and longest drive on 7th was won by Colin Gibson.
