Friday 20th August Finals Evening @ Cuckfield
Each match will consist of 4 pairs per team, each pair playing a 'Betterball Stableford' match over 9 holes. Each individual match will be won by the pair who score the most Stableford points.
Points will be awared to each team as follows:-
Match won = 2 points (4-0 or 3-1)
Match drawn = 1 point (2-2)
In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the total of Stableford points won throughout all the matches will be used to determine the winners.
The first tee will be at 6pm and the match fee will be £7. This will include £1 each for a 'nearest-the-pin' prize and £1 each to go towards prizes for the finals evening at the end of the summer. A bar meal will be served after play at each match.
The finals evening will be a Texas Scramble to include 1 player from each club, shotgun start. Cuckfield have kindly offered to host the finals this year and will provide a 2 course meal for everyone. The cost will be £10 per head.
