9 Hole League
Peter Francis, Captain of Horne Park, was presented with the 9 Hole League Trophy for 2009 at the Finals evening held at Horsham on Friday 28th August.
A fun Texas Scramble, with teams made up of a player from each of the 4 clubs, was held and the winning team of Joe Sevilla (Foxbridge), Sue Humphries (Cuckfield), Margot Mulvey (Horne Park) and Karen Waddell (HG&F) scored a magnificent nett 21.5!! Their gross score of 27 was also the best of the evening - very impressive!!
The league was won by Horne Park who had 2 wins and 4 drawn matches. Foxbridge were 2nd with 2 wins and 2 draws. Full results can be seen via the link.
My thanks to all the members of the 4 clubs for taking part in the 9 Hole League this year. We hope to do it all again in 2010!!
