Greetings from Alistair,

I wonder what you think of when you consider the role of your PGA Golf Professional: Someone who can help your game? Someone who will put you off? Someone who gives lessons to people who can't play? Perhaps you have thought all these thoughts, and more.

My role as your PGA Golf Professional is very simple - to help you enjoy a better game of golf. More enjoyment might be derived from hitting the ball more consistently, or from improving your score, or from beating your friend, or from being able to keep playing for many years to come.

Teaching @ Foxbridge

Golf lessons can provide you with some fresh ideas as to how you should swing the golf club, but playing a better game is not always dependant on swinging better. Have you ever had a putting lesson, or a pitching and chipping lesson, or sought advice on how to warm up before you play? It might be worth exploring these, and other, avenues.

Custom Fitting @ Foxbridge

Also, the effects of using fitted golf clubs is something worth noting. Matching your equipment to your swing characteristics has been shown to greatly enhance a player's ability too hit the ball where they want to. Conversely, clubs that do not really suit may be the cause of many poor shots as well as forcing the golfer to compromise their technique.

Shopping @ Foxbridge

Whether you are purchasing a new set of made-to-measure golf clubs or any other piece of golfing equipment, we are able to give you a great deal. We do soecialise in a number of brands, but have direct access to all other major manufacturers through our other shops. You also have the peace of mind of buying from people you know, and who know you.

Good golfing,

Alistair Cardwell
